Hampi Festival

Hampi is famous for its magnificent ruins in Karnataka. The city comes alive during these three-day festivals of dance and music. It is held in the first week of November. The Hampi Festival is organized by the Government of Karnataka. This festival includes dance, drama, music, fireworks, puppet shows and vibrant processions. The elephants and horses are decorated and men are dressed in the uniforms of the Golden Era of Vijayanagar Empire.
