Day 01: Guwahati/Tezpur - Nameri National Park

  • Meet & Greet with the representative at Guwahati airport.
  • Transfer to Nameri National Park (230kms/5hrs).
  • Located on the banks of the Jia Bhoroli River.
  • Famous for and is home to the white winged duck, Sambhar, Barking Deer, Hog Deer and Elephants.
  • Evening cultural show of Bihu Dance, the traditional and well known Assamese dance.
  • Overnight in tented accommodation.

Day 02: Nameri - Dirang (Distace: 180 Km; Estimated Travel Time: 05 Hrs)

  • At 6.00 am, proceed for a 2 hours trek inside the National Park.
  • Enjoy the ecstatic view of Himalayan Foot Hills and the landscape.
  • Return to your lodge for breakfast.
  • Proceed for an exclusive River Rafting on Jia Bhorali River (smooth water rafting)
  • After lunch drive to Dirang via Bomdila.
  • Dirang is famous for its apple orchards, sheep breeding farms and natural hot springs.
  • Enroute visit Tippi Orchid Centre and Sessa Orchid Sanctuary. Overnight at Dirang.

Day 03: Dirang

  • After breakfast explore Dirang.
  • Visit Sangti Valley. Situated along the shores of Sangti River.
  • Sangti Valley is one of the seasonal homes of the black-necked crane that flies across from China and perhaps Leh.
  • Later visit the Sheep Breeding Centre, Dirang Dzong, explore the beauty and nature of Mandala.
  • Experience village walks and interact with local villagers to enhance your experience. Return to your hotel. Overnight at Dirang.

Day 04: Dirang - Sela Pass – Tawang (Distance: 104 Km; Estimated Travel Time: 04 Hrs approx.)

  • After breakfast drive to Tawang along the Dirang River.
  • Halt at the famous Sela Pass which remains covered with snow for most of the year.
  • Visit the frozen Paradise Lake.
  • From Sela drive downhill to Tawang Chu River. The road is bewitching with piercing snow peaks towering above you, waterfalls (some frozen) at every corner and a gushing Nuranang river accompanying you all the way!
  • Reach Tawang Township and check into your hotel.
  • After lunch visit the famous 300 Tawang Monastery. It accommodates 500 monks and houses priceless Buddhist texts and scriptures. An 8 meter high statue of the Buddha is situated here, and ancient Thangkas or traditional paintings and manuscripts. Dinner and overnight at Tawang.

Day 05: Tawang

  • After breakfast drive to the high altitude lakes of Pangong Tang Tso.
  • A scenic drive with bird’s eye view of the township below.
  • Post lunch enjoy the day at leisure. Walk into the town and do some shopping. You can visit the Craft Center and traditional Monpa Village. Dinner and overnight at Tawang.

Day 06: Tawang – Bomdila (Distance: 230 Km; Estimated Travel Time: 6 Hrs)

  • After breakfast drive to Bomdila (famous as a place of misty mountains, lush forest, apple orchards and Buddhist monasteries).
  • Arrive Bomdila and take lunch. Rest of the day at leisure.
  • Experience the local flavor - head out on walks and interact with the locals to enhance your experience. Return to your hotel. Dinner and overnight stay at Bomdila

Day 07: Bomdila – Kaziranga National Park (Distance: 203 Km; Estimated Travel Time: 05 Hrs)

  • After breakfast proceed for Kaziranga National Park (2.5 hrs).
  • Enroute stop at Tezpur and visit some of the ancient temples and monuments on the north bank of the river Brahmaputra.
  • Continue drive to the oldest park in Assam- Kaziranga National Park. It is a world heritage site and undisturbed by a human presence.
  • Inhabited by the world's largest population of one-horned rhinoceroses and tigers, elephants, panthers and bears, and thousands of birds, the landscape of Kaziranga is of sheer forest, tall elephant grass, rugged reeds, marshes & shallow pools. Overnight in Kaziranga in a lodge.

Day 08: Kaziranga – Elephant and Jeep safaris

  • Depart today early morning at 5.30 a.m. for an early morning elephant ride in search of the rhino.
  • Elephant safari is the most enjoyed safari to explore the wide varieties of wildlife in the Kaziranga National Park .The vast area covered by the Elephant Grass can be best viewed when you are on an elephant's back. You might get the opportunity to see the herds of Indian Elephants, One-horned Rhinoceros and many other wild animals from a very close distance.
  • Return to your lodge for breakfast. Later proceed for a 3 - 4 hrs jeep safari of the Central Range of the Park. A jeep safari will take you deeper into the forest range where you can spot many more animals and birds.If you are especially lucky, you may even spot a tiger while on your jeep safari.
  • Return to your lodge for lunch. Embark on a Jeep Safari in the Western Range of the park.
  • In the evening enjoy Jhumur, Tribal dance show. Overnight at Kaziranga.

Day 09: Kaziranga - Guwahati (Distance: 197 Km; Estimated Travel Time: 05 Hrs approx.)

  • After breakfast drive to Guwahati airport / station for onward destination.
